Bowling Party!

SB Families are welcome to join us as we enjoy a time of bowling and socializing. We will provide pizza, pretzels, chips and drinks. Please RSVP by February 23rd with the number in your party (immediate family only, please) and how many plan to bowl.

Mom's Night Out!

Join other moms from our organization for this evening of getting to know one another and learning from each other. This will be an informal gathering in the private room at this Winans location with buy-your-own coffee and/or chocolates. Stop in for a few minutes or stay the whole 2 hours. Hope to see you there!

Thank You Corvette Troy!

Once again we’d like to thank the members of Corvette-Troy for continuing their generous support of MVSBO, not only through their financial contributions, but also by putting on the Christmas Party year after year! This continues to be one of the best-attended events we have all year. A great time was had by all; the highlight was, of course, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus with gifts for all the children! The Corvette-Troy Charity Committee also presented us with a very generous donation of $10,000! Our Organization would not be able to do so many wonderful events and support many individual requests, if it weren’t for them. We are very grateful for all they do!

Simply register online at KrogerCommunityRewards.com. No Kroger Plus card? They are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger!

Click on Sign In/Register New online customers must create a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address creating a password, and agreeing to the terms and conditions.

You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.

Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.

Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.

Update or confirm your information.

Enter Miami Valley Spina Bifida Org in the search and select from list. Click confirm.

REMEMBER, purchases will not count for MVSBO until a card is registered!

Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 800-576-4377, select option 3 to get your Kroger Plus card number.

Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

Equipment Assistance Request Form

The Purpose of this program is to help offset expenses incurred by individuals with Spina Bifida or their families. (See application form below.)

Guidelines

Participation in fundraising events is encouraged
Applications are available from the address listed below or by calling (937)236-1122
The fund covers only expenses for Spina Bifida that have not been paid for out of any state aid, insurance or other funding source
Completed applications must be accompanied by copies of itemized bills or prescriptions, and insurance allowance or denial statements
All information is considered confidential
Grants are subject to the availabilty of funds

Items Covered (Examples)

Orthopedic equipment (crutches, brace, walkers, shoes, wheelchairs)
Urinary and bowel control supplies (gloves, lubricant, catheters)
Home & vehicle modifications
Other medical expenses not covered by insurance or state agencies
Adapted recreational equipment
Other Needed services
